Angel Ann Halstead, 4, was last seen with her 8-year-old brother. She had been playing with a kitten not far from where her body was found. She had been raped and beaten to death. She also had traumatic blows to the head and body. Her body was found in a patch of palmetto trees about 150 yards from her home. She was partially covered by leaves.
